Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Birchbark Roofing Fort Worth

We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The crew you see on your roof is the same crew you’ll see at the supply house, at the permit office, and on the next job down the street. Most of our team has worked together for years, and we’ve built the Fort Worth location around people who take tear-off and clean-up as seriously as the shingle work itself. Erik Lindgren chose each person on this crew for one reason: they notice what other roofers walk past.

Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been on Fort Worth roofs for 17 years, the last six of those as our lead technician. He holds GAF and CertainTeed installation certifications and is the person we send when a repair involves matching an older roof line or working around a dormer that’s seen better days. He’s the crew member who reads the slope and sun exposure before recommending a material, not after. Marcus keeps a printed wind-speed chart in his truck, not because he needs it, but because he likes showing homeowners why a ridge vent sizes the way it does. He’s originally from Crowley and still gets to the yard before anyone else.

Dana R. – Senior Installer

Dana runs the tear-off phase on most of our replacement jobs, which means she’s the one making sure the drop cloths are down before the first shingle comes off. She’s certified in Owens Corning and IKO product lines and has a reputation for catching decking rot that other crews would paper over. Dana spent five years doing insurance restoration work, so she understands what adjusters look for and what homeowners need documented. She keeps a photo log of every layer we remove, and she’s the reason our clean-up photos look the way they do. On weekends she’s usually at Lake Worth with her kids.

Holly S. – Service Coordinator

Holly is the voice on the phone when you call Birchbark Roofing Fort Worth. She schedules every estimate, tracks material orders, and coordinates permit pickup so the crew never stands around waiting at the city office. Before joining us, she spent eight years in construction scheduling, so she knows the difference between “it’s on the truck” and “it’s actually on the truck.” Holly lives in Benbrook and has a German shepherd named Rip, which is why she’s the one who reminds us to coordinate the door schedule with homeowners who have pets inside.

Jordan K. – Apprentice

Jordan is finishing his fourth year with Birchbark and his second year of formal apprenticeship training. He works under Marcus on repairs and is learning the GAF certification track. Jordan runs the magnet sweep after tear-off and has never once complained about it, which tells you most of what you need to know. He grew up in Saginaw and spent two summers working for his uncle’s framing crew, so he came to us already comfortable on a roof. He’s the one who spots the nail that fell in the flower bed.

One Standard, Every Job

Birchbark Roofing has been part of the Cedarwell family since 2000, and every Fort Worth job carries the same promises as every other location. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if something isn’t right, we come back and make it right – stamped on every job, no fine print. You’ll get a written price in dollars before any work starts, always. You’ll see shoe covers at the door, drop cloths through the hallway, and a photo of the completed clean-up before the crew leaves. The C.A.R.E. values are the actual checklist our crew works from: Clean up like it’s our own home. Ask before we move or touch anything. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours. Explain the price before the work. Erik Lindgren hired every person on this page, and he’s on-site regularly because that’s the only way to keep a standard honest.
